| Our cold forming operation works wire (steel, stainless steel, nonferrous metals and special alloys) with a diameter ranging from 3 mm to 16 mm into solid parts, semi-hollow parts and hollow parts. These special parts can have lengths of up to 100 mm and a head or collar diameter of up to 30 mm. | |
Solid and Semi Sold Parts |
The manufacture of solid and semi-hollow parts is based on customer-specific requirements with head and bore geometries produced according to the relevant DIN specifications |
Sleeves/Hollow Parts |
Sleeves are manufactured in different head and shank geometries. Thanks to economical production on our multi-stage presses considerable cost savings can be made compared with conventional turned parts |
Threaded and Knurled Parts |
Internal or external threads can be manufactured both by cold forming and by machine cutting in finishing. Radial or axial knurls can be applied in the course of the pressing operation or in the downstream mechanical machining process. |
Step Pins |
Step Pins are commonly used in hinge technology as moving link elements. In assemblies they act as spacers between the components |
Ball Pins |
We manufacture ball pins with different part geometries (including hexagon head or recessed drives in the ball of the head) for riveting, welding or screwing. These parts can be produced by machine cutting or even ready finished with segment tools on our multi-stage presses. On request special processes such as induction heating of the ball or thread locking can be implemented |
Metal Plastic Parts |
The pressed cold-formed parts are fed by robot technology and form a keyed connection after the plastic injection moulding. |
Special Parts |
We can form project specific special and development parts that can be finished using our cutting edge tool technology. Special profile wires can also be used and even non-standard designs can be pressed. |
